Another article I came across goes very in-depth on the broadcasting platforms and options of esports. It is specific to the Starcraft II competitive scene, and uses that game as its primary example, where as I will be using League of Legends as mine. Though the games will be different, the text offers very useful and detailed information on broadcasting esports, as well as its implications on the rest of the world. What really interested me in this article was the comparisons and analysis of Television and Internet Television. It will be very useful for my paper, as the online broadcasting of esports events is/was crucial to its popularity and success.
