“New research suggests that hours of exposure to violent media like video games can make kids react in more hostile ways compared to ones who don’t spend lots of time controller-in-hand, reigniting the debate about children and gaming”
I really don’t think this is any surprise at all. I feel it is the age old question when it comes to video games. Do violent video games make kids violent, or should violent kids not have access to such games?
I think that the topic is a great debate, and would love to research more about it. Although, the topic is a rather sensitive subject. There have been past accounts, of mass shootings where the shooters have had histories of playing such violent video games such as, COD, GTA, and DOOM.
Regardless of sensitivity, I think a topic like this needs to be further invesitgated. Some important questions need to be answered.
